When Windows creates a console, ENABLE_VIRTUAL_PROCESS_INPUT is disabled by default. Arrow keys cannot be retrieved by ReadFile or ReadConsoleInput functions. Add ENABLE_VIRTUAL_PROCESS_INPUT to the flag which is passed to SetConsoleMode, when opening stdio console.
