net: dsa: lantiq_gswip: ignore MDIO buses disabled in OF
If the "lantiq,xrx200-mdio" child has status = "disabled", the MDIO bus
creation should be avoided. Use of_device_is_available() to check for
that, and take advantage of 2 facts:
- of_device_is_available(NULL) returns false
- of_node_put(NULL) is a no-op

net: dsa: lantiq_gswip: use devres for internal MDIO bus, not ds->user_mii_bus
This driver does not need any of the functionalities that make
ds->user_mii_bus special. Those use cases are listed here:

It just makes use of ds->user_mii_bus only as storage for its own MDIO
bus, which otherwise has no connection to the framework. This is because:
- the gswip driver only probes on OF: it fails if of_device_get_match_data()
returns NULL
- when the child OF node of the MDIO bus is absent, no MDIO bus is
registered at all, not even by the DSA framework. In order for that to
have happened, the gswip driver would have needed to provide
->phy_read() and ->phy_write() in struct dsa_switch_ops, which it does
not.
We can break the connection between the gswip driver and the DSA
framework and still preserve the same functionality.
Since commit
3b73a7b8ec38 ("net: mdio_bus: add refcounting for fwnodes
to mdiobus"), MDIO buses take ownership of the OF node handled to them,
and release it on their own. The gswip driver no longer needs to do
this.
Combine that with devres, and we no longer need to keep track of
anything for teardown purposes.

net: sched: move block device tracking into tcf_block_get/put_ext()
Inserting the device to block xarray in qdisc_create() is not suitable
place to do this. As it requires use of tcf_block() callback, it causes
multiple issues. It is called for all qdisc types, which is incorrect.
So, instead, move it to more suitable place, which is tcf_block_get_ext()
and make sure it is only done for qdiscs that use block infrastructure
and also only for blocks which are shared.
Symmetrically, alter the cleanup path, move the xarray entry removal
into tcf_block_put_ext().

r8169: fix building with CONFIG_LEDS_CLASS=m
When r8169 is built-in but LED support is a loadable module, the new
code to drive the LED causes a link failure:
ld: drivers/net/ethernet/realtek/r8169_leds.o: in function `rtl8168_init_leds':
r8169_leds.c:(.text+0x36c): undefined reference to `devm_led_classdev_register_ext'
LED support is an optional feature, so fix this issue by adding a Kconfig
symbol R8169_LEDS that is guaranteed to be false if r8169 is built-in
and LED core support is a module. As a positive side effect of this change
r8169_leds.o no longer is built under this configuration.

net: enetc: allow phy-mode = "1000base-x"
The driver code proper is handled by the lynx_pcs. The enetc just needs
to populate phylink's supported_interfaces array, and return true for
this phy-mode in enetc_port_has_pcs(), such that it creates an internal
MDIO bus through which the Lynx PCS registers are accessed.

x86/csum: clean up `csum_partial' further
Commit
688eb8191b47 ("x86/csum: Improve performance of `csum_partial`")
ended up improving the code generation for the IP csum calculations, and
in particular special-casing the 40-byte case that is a hot case for
IPv6 headers.
It then had _another_ special case for the 64-byte unrolled loop, which
did two chains of 32-byte blocks, which allows modern CPU's to improve
performance by doing the chains in parallel thanks to renaming the carry
flag.
This just unifies the special cases and combines them into just one
single helper the 40-byte csum case, and replaces the 64-byte case by a
80-byte case that just does that single helper twice. It avoids having
all these different versions of inline assembly, and actually improved
performance further in my tests.
There was never anything magical about the 64-byte unrolled case, even
though it happens to be a common size (and typically is the cacheline
size).

x86/csum: Remove unnecessary odd handling
The special case for odd aligned buffers is unnecessary and mostly
just adds overhead. Aligned buffers is the expectations, and even for
unaligned buffer, the only case that was helped is if the buffer was
1-byte from word aligned which is ~1/7 of the cases. Overall it seems
highly unlikely to be worth to extra branch.
It was left in the previous perf improvement patch because I was
erroneously comparing the exact output of `csum_partial(...)`, but
really we only need `csum_fold(csum_partial(...))` to match so its
safe to remove.
All csum kunit tests pass.

net/tcp: Only produce AO/MD5 logs if there are any keys
User won't care about inproper hash options in the TCP header if they
don't use neither TCP-AO nor TCP-MD5. Yet, those logs can add up in
syslog, while not being a real concern to the host admin:

Keep silent and avoid logging when there aren't any keys in the system.
Side-note: I also defined static_branch_tcp_*() helpers to avoid more

net: Implement missing SO_TIMESTAMPING_NEW cmsg support

9718475e6908 ("socket: Add SO_TIMESTAMPING_NEW") added the new
socket option SO_TIMESTAMPING_NEW. However, it was never implemented in
__sock_cmsg_send thus breaking SO_TIMESTAMPING cmsg for platforms using
SO_TIMESTAMPING_NEW.

Revert "platform/x86: p2sb: Allow p2sb_bar() calls during PCI device probe"
This reverts commit
b28ff7a7c3245d7f62acc20f15b4361292fe4117.
The commit introduced P2SB device scan and resource cache during the
boot process to avoid deadlock. But it caused detection failure of
IDE controllers on old systems [1]. The IDE controllers on old systems
and P2SB devices on newer systems have same PCI DEVFN. It is suspected
the confusion between those two is the failure cause. Revert the change
at this moment until the proper solution gets ready.

net: mdio_bus: add refcounting for fwnodes to mdiobus
Luiz Angelo Daros de Luca reports that the MDIO bus code maintains a
reference to the DT node, but does not hold a refcount on the node.
The simple solution to this is to add the necessary refcounting into
the MDIO bus code for all users, ensuring that on registration, the
refcount is incremented, and only dropped when the MDIO bus is
released.
Do this for fwnodes, so we not only fix this for DT, but also other
types of firmware nodes as well.

net: ravb: Wait for operating mode to be applied
CSR.OPS bits specify the current operating mode and (according to
documentation) they are updated by HW when the operating mode change
request is processed. To comply with this check CSR.OPS before proceeding.
Commit introduces ravb_set_opmode() that does all the necessities for
setting the operating mode (set CCC.OPC (and CCC.GAC, CCC.CSEL, if any) and
wait for CSR.OPS) and call it where needed. This should comply with all the
HW manuals requirements as different manual variants specify that different
modes need to be checked in CSR.OPS when setting CCC.OPC.
If gPTP active in config mode is supported and it needs to be enabled, the
CCC.GAC and CCC.CSEL needs to be configured along with CCC.OPC in the same
write access. For this, ravb_set_opmode() allows passing GAC and CSEL as
part of opmode and the function updates accordingly CCC register.

octeontx2-af: Re-enable MAC TX in otx2_stop processing
During QoS scheduling testing with multiple strict priority flows, the
netdev tx watchdog timeout routine is invoked when a low priority QoS
queue doesn't get a chance to transmit the packets because other high
priority flows are completely subscribing the transmit link. The netdev
tx watchdog timeout routine will stop MAC RX and TX functionality in
otx2_stop() routine before cleanup of HW TX queues which results in SMQ
flush errors because the packets belonging to low priority queues will
never gets flushed since MAC TX is disabled. This patch fixes the issue
by re-enabling MAC TX to ensure the packets in HW pipeline gets flushed
properly.

octeontx2-af: Always configure NIX TX link credits based on max frame size
Currently the NIX TX link credits are initialized based on the max frame
size that can be transmitted on a link but when the MTU is changed, the
NIX TX link credits are reprogrammed by the SW based on the new MTU value.
Since SMQ max packet length is programmed to max frame size by default,
there is a chance that NIX TX may stall while sending a max frame sized
packet on the link with insufficient credits to send the packet all at
once. This patch avoids stall issue by not changing the link credits
dynamically when the MTU is changed.

net/sched: sch_api: conditional netlink notifications
Implement conditional netlink notifications for Qdiscs and classes,
which were missing in the initial patches that targeted tc filters and
actions. Notifications will only be built after passing a check for
'rtnl_notify_needed()'.
For both Qdiscs and classes 'get' operations now call a dedicated
notification function as it was not possible to distinguish between
'create' and 'get' before. This distinction is necessary because 'get'
always send a notification.

net/sched: introduce ACT_P_BOUND return code
Bound actions always return '0' and as of today we rely on '0'
being returned in order to properly skip bound actions in
tcf_idr_insert_many. In order to further improve maintainability,
introduce the ACT_P_BOUND return code.
Actions are updated to return 'ACT_P_BOUND' instead of plain '0'.
tcf_idr_insert_many is then updated to check for 'ACT_P_BOUND'.

The RX queue info contains information about the RX queue which might

net: ena: Don't check if XDP program is loaded in ena_xdp_execute()
This check is already done in ena_clean_rx_irq() which indirectly
calls it.
This function is called in napi context and the driver doesn't
allow to change the XDP program without performing destruction and
reinitialization of napi context (part of ena_down/ena_up sequence).

net: ena: Use tx_ring instead of xdp_ring for XDP channel TX
When an XDP program is loaded the existing channels in the driver split
into two halves:
- The first half of the channels contain RX and TX rings, these queues
are used for receiving traffic and sending packets originating from
kernel.
- The second half of the channels contain only a TX ring. These queues
are used for sending packets that were redirected using XDP_TX
or XDP_REDIRECT.
Referring to the queues in the second half of the channels as "xdp_ring"
can be confusing and may give the impression that ENA has the capability
to generate an additional special queue.
This patch ensures that the xdp_ring field is exclusively used to
describe the XDP TX queue that a specific RX queue needs to utilize when
forwarding packets with XDP TX and XDP REDIRECT, preserving the
integrity of the xdp_ring field in ena_ring.

net: ena: Introduce total_tx_size field in ena_tx_buffer struct
To avoid de-referencing skb or xdp_frame when we poll for TX completion
(where they might not be in the cache), save the total TX packet size in
the ena_tx_buffer object representing the packet.
Also the 'print_once' field's type was changed from u32 to u8 to allow
adding the 'total_tx_size' without changing the total size of the
struct.

net: ena: Put orthogonal fields in ena_tx_buffer in a union
The skb and xdpf pointers cannot be set together in the driver
(each TX descriptor can send either an SKB or an XDP frame), and so it
makes more sense to put them both in a union.
This decreases the overall size of the ena_tx_buffer struct which
improves cache locality.

net: ena: Pass ena_adapter instead of net_device to ena_xmit_common()
This change will enable the ability to use ena_xmit_common()
in functions that don't have a net_device pointer.
While it can be retrieved by dereferencing
ena_adapter (adapter->netdev), there's no reason to do it in
fast path code where this pointer is only needed for
debug prints.

XDP system has a very large footprint in the driver's overall code.
makes the whole driver's code much harder to read.
Moving XDP code to dedicated files.
This patch doesn't make any changes to the code itself and only
cut-pastes the code into ena_xdp.c and ena_xdp.h files so the change
is purely cosmetic.

selftests/net: change shebang to bash to support "source"
The patch set [1] added a general lib.sh in net selftests, and converted
several test scripts to source the lib.sh.
unicast_extensions.sh (converted in [1]) and pmtu.sh (converted in [2])
have a /bin/sh shebang which may point to various shells in different
distributions, but "source" is only available in some of them. For
example, "source" is a built-it function in bash, but it cannot be
used in dash.
Refer to other scripts that were converted together, simply change the
shebang to bash to fix the following issues when the default /bin/sh
points to other shells.

When the first RNIC is set down, the lgr->lnk[0] will be cleared and an
asymmetric link will be allocated in lgr->link[SMC_LINKS_PER_LGR_MAX - 1]
by smc_llc_alloc_alt_link(). Then when we try to dump SMC-R connections
in __smc_diag_dump(), the invalid lgr->lnk[0] will be accessed, resulting
in this issue. So fix it by accessing the right link.

virtio_net: fix missing dma unmap for resize
For rq, we have three cases getting buffers from virtio core:
1. virtqueue_get_buf{,_ctx}
2. virtqueue_detach_unused_buf
3. callback for virtqueue_resize
But in commit
295525e29a5b("virtio_net: merge dma operations when
filling mergeable buffers"), I missed the dma unmap for the #3 case.
That will leak some memory, because I did not release the pages referred
by the unused buffers.
If we do such script, we will make the system OOM.

Prevent move_mount from applying the attach_disconnected flag
to move_mount(). This prevents detached mounts from appearing
as / when applying mount mediation, which is not only incorrect
but could result in bad policy being generated.
Basic mount rules like
allow mount,
allow mount options=(move) -> /target/,
will allow detached mounts, allowing older policy to continue
to function. New policy gains the ability to specify `detached` as
a source option
allow mount detached -> /target/,
In addition make sure support of move_mount is advertised as
a feature to userspace so that applications that generate policy
can respond to the addition.
Note: this fixes mediation of move_mount when a detached mount is used,
it does not fix the broader regression of apparmor mediation of
mounts under the new mount api.

When tracefs is mounted with "gid=1000", it will update the existing
dentries to have the new gid. The tracefs_inode which is retrieved by
a container_of(dentry->d_inode) has flags to see if the inode belongs
to the eventfs system.
The issue that was fixed was if getdents() was called on tracefs that
was previously mounted, and was not closed. It will leave a "cursor
dentry" in the subdirs list of the current dentries that set_gid()
walks. On a remount of tracefs, the container_of(dentry->d_inode)
will dereference a NULL pointer and cause a crash when referenced.
Simply have a check for dentry->d_inode to see if it is NULL and if
so, skip that entry.
- Fix the bits of the eventfs_inode structure.
The "is_events" bit was taken from the nr_entries field, but the
nr_entries field wasn't updated to be 30 bits and was still 31.
Including the "is_freed" bit this would use 33 bits which would make
the structure use another integer for just one bit.

igc: Fix hicredit calculation
According to the Intel Software Manual for I225, Section 7.5.2.7,
hicredit should be multiplied by the constant link-rate value, 0x7736.
Currently, the old constant link-rate value, 0x7735, from the boards
supported on igb are being used, most likely due to a copy'n'paste, as
the rest of the logic is the same for both drivers.
Update hicredit accordingly.

ice: fix Get link status data length
Get link status version 2 (opcode 0x0607) is returning an error because FW
expects a data length of 56 bytes, and this is causing the driver to fail
probe.
Update the get link status version 2 data length to 56 bytes by adding 5
byte reserved5 field to the end of struct ice_aqc_get_link_status_data and
passing it as parameter to offsetofend() to the fix error.

i40e: Restore VF MSI-X state during PCI reset
During a PCI FLR the MSI-X Enable flag in the VF PCI MSI-X capability
register will be cleared. This can lead to issues when a VF is
assigned to a VM because in these cases the VF driver receives no
indication of the PF PCI error/reset and additionally it is incapable
of restoring the cleared flag in the hypervisor configuration space
without fully reinitializing the driver interrupt functionality.
Since the VF driver is unable to easily resolve this condition on its own,
restore the VF MSI-X flag during the PF PCI reset handling.

ASoC: meson: g12a-tohdmitx: Fix event generation for S/PDIF mux
When a control changes value the return value from _put() should be 1 so
we get events generated to userspace notifying applications of the change.
While the I2S mux gets this right the S/PDIF mux does not, fix the return
value.

ASoC: meson: g12a-toacodec: Fix event generation
When a control changes value the return value from _put() should be 1 so
we get events generated to userspace notifying applications of the change.
We are checking if there has been a change and exiting early if not but we
are not providing the correct return value in the latter case, fix this.

i40e: fix use-after-free in i40e_aqc_add_filters()
Commit
3116f59c12bd ("i40e: fix use-after-free in
i40e_sync_filters_subtask()") avoided use-after-free issues,
by increasing refcount during update the VSI filter list to
the HW. However, it missed the unicast situation.
When deleting an unicast FDB entry, the i40e driver will release
the mac_filter, and i40e_service_task will concurrently request
firmware to add the mac_filter, which will lead to the following
use-after-free issue.
Fix again for both netdev->uc and netdev->mc.

A probe response from a transmitting AP in an Multi-BSSID setup will
contain more than one Multi-Link element. Most likely, only one of these

wifi: cfg80211: correct comment about MLD ID
The comment was referencing the wrong section of the documentation and
was also subtly wrong as it assumed the rules that apply when sending
probe requests directly to a nontransmitted AP. However, in that case
the response comes from the transmitting AP and the AP MLD ID will be
included.

wifi: cfg80211: Update the default DSCP-to-UP mapping
The default DSCP-to-UP mapping method defined in RFC8325
applied to packets marked per recommendations in RFC4594 and
destined to 802.11 WLAN clients will yield a number of inconsistent
QoS mappings.
To handle this, modify the mapping of specific DSCP values for
which the default mapping will create inconsistencies, based on
the recommendations in section 4 in RFC8325.
Note: RFC8235 is used as it referenced by both IEEE802.11Revme_D4.0
and WFA QoS Management Specification.

kunit: add a convenience allocation wrapper for SKBs
Add a simple convenience helper to allocate and zero fill an SKB for the
use by a kunit test. Also provide a way to free it again in case that
may be desirable.
This simply mirrors the kunit_kmalloc API.

kunit: add parameter generation macro using description from array
The existing KUNIT_ARRAY_PARAM macro requires a separate function to
get the description. However, in a lot of cases the description can
just be copied directly from the array. Add a second macro that
avoids having to write a static function just for a single strscpy.
