target/arm: Make functions used by m-nocp global
We want to split out the .c.inc files which are currently included
into translate.c so they are separate compilation units. To do this
we need to make some functions which are currently file-local to
translate.c have global scope; create a translate-a32.h paralleling
the existing translate-a64.h as a place for these declarations to
live, so that code moved into the new compilation units can call
them.
The functions made global here are those required by the
m-nocp.decode functions, except that I have converted the whole
family of {read,write}_neon_element* and also both the load_cpu and
store_cpu functions for consistency, even though m-nocp only wants a
few functions from each.

target/arm: Share unallocated_encoding() and gen_exception_insn()
The unallocated_encoding() function is the same in both
translate-a64.c and translate.c; make the translate.c function global
and drop the translate-a64.c version. To do this we need to also
share gen_exception_insn(), which currently exists in two slightly
different versions for A32 and A64: merge those into a single
function that can work for both.
This will be useful for splitting up translate.c, which will require
unallocated_encoding() to no longer be file-local. It's also
hopefully less confusing to have only one version of the function
rather than two.

Now that we have separated the gl and non-gl code flows to two different
devices there is little reason turn on and off virglrenderer usage at
runtime. The gl code can simply use virglrenderer unconditionally.
So drop use_virgl_renderer field and just do that.
Drop the virgl property, the virtio-gpu-gl-device has virgl enabled no
matter what. Just use virtio-gpu-device instead if you don't want
enable virgl and opengl. This simplifies the logic and reduces the test
matrix.

virtio-gpu: handle partial maps properly
dma_memory_map() may map only a part of the request. Happens if the
request can't be mapped in one go, for example due to a iommu creating
a linear dma mapping for scattered physical pages. Should that be the
case virtio-gpu must call dma_memory_map() again with the remaining
range instead of simply throwing an error.
Note that this change implies the number of iov entries may differ from
the number of mapping entries sent by the guest. Therefore the iov_len
bookkeeping needs some updates too, we have to explicitly pass around
the iov length now.

Some of the EDID extensions like DisplayID do checksums of their
subsections. Currently checksums can be only applied to the whole
extension blocks which are 128 bytes.
This patch allows to checksum arbitrary parts of EDID, and not only
whole extension blocks.
edid: move timing generation into a separate function
The timing generation is currently performed inside the function that
fills in the DTD. The DisplayID generation needs it as well, so moving
it out to a separate function.
When the 4 descriptors in the base edid block are filled, jump to the
dta extension block. This allows for more than four descriptors.
Happens for example when generating an edid blob with a serial number
(qemu-edid -s $serial).
Initialize the "Established timings III" block earlier. Also move up
edid_fill_modes(). That'll make sure the offset for the additional
descriptors in the dta block don't move any more, which in turn makes it
easier to actually use them.

pc-bios/s390-ccw: Allow building with Clang, too
Clang unfortunately does not support generating code for the z900
architecture level and starts with the z10 instead. Thus to be able
to support compiling with Clang, we have to check for the supported
compiler flags. The disadvantage is of course that the bios image
will only run with z10 guest CPUs upwards (which is what most people
use anyway), so just in case let's also emit a warning in that case
(we will continue to ship firmware images that have been pre-built
with GCC in future releases, so this should not impact normal users,
too).

As this warning does us more harm than good in the BIOS code (where
lot of direct accesses to low memory are done), silence this warning

pc-bios/s390-ccw/netboot: Use "-Wl," prefix to pass parameter to the linker
We are using the compiler to do the linking of the bios files. GCC still
accepts the "-Ttext=..." linker flag directly and is smart enough to
pass it to the linker, but in case we are compiling with Clang, we have
to use the official way with the "-Wl," prefix instead.

virtiofsd: Changed allocations of fv_VuDev & its internals to GLib functions
Changed the allocations of fv_VuDev structs, VuDev structs, and
fv_QueueInfo strcuts from using calloc()/realloc() & free() to using
the equivalent functions from GLib.
In instances, removed the pair of allocation and assertion for
non-NULL checking with a GLib function that aborts on error.
Removed NULL-checking for fv_VuDev struct allocation and used
a GLib function that crashes on error; namely, g_new0(). This
is because allocating one struct should not be a problem on an
healthy system. Also following the pattern of aborting-on-null
behaviour that is taken with allocating VuDev structs and
fv_QueueInfo structs.

Replaced the calls to malloc()/calloc() and their respective
calls to free() of iovec structs with GLib's allocation and
deallocation functions and used g_autofree when appropriate.
Replaced the allocation of in_sg_cpy to g_new() instead of a call
to calloc() and a null-checking assertion. Not g_new0()
because the buffer is immediately overwritten using memcpy.

virtiofsd incorrectly assumed a fixed set of header layout in the virt
queue; assuming that the fuse and write headers were conveniently
separated from the data; the spec doesn't allow us to take that

usb: limit combined packets to 1 MiB (CVE-2021-3527)
usb-host and usb-redirect try to batch bulk transfers by combining many
small usb packets into a single, large transfer request, to reduce the
overhead and improve performance.
This patch adds a size limit of 1 MiB for those combined packets to
restrict the host resources the guest can bind that way.

Since cpu_check_irqs() doesn't reference to anything outside
of CPUSPARCState, it better belongs to the architectural code
in target/, rather than the hardware specific code in hw/.
Note: while we moved the trace events, we don't rename them.
Remark: this allows us to build the leon3 machine stand alone,
fixing this link failure (because cpu_check_irqs is defined in
hw/sparc/sun4m.c which is only built when CONFIG_SUN4M is selected):

hw/sparc: Allow building without the leon3 machine
When building without the leon3 machine, we get this link failure:
/usr/bin/ld: target_sparc_int32_helper.c.o: in function `leon3_irq_manager':
target/sparc/int32_helper.c:172: undefined reference to `leon3_irq_ack'
This is because the leon3_irq_ack() is declared in hw/sparc/leon3.c,
which is only build when CONFIG_LEON3 is selected.
Fix by moving the leon3_cache_control_int() / leon3_irq_manager()
(which are specific to the leon3 machine) to hw/sparc/leon3.c.
Move the trace events along (but don't rename them).
leon3_irq_ack() is now locally used, declare it static to reduce
its scope.

configure: handle meson options that have changed type
Usually Meson uses pre-serialized information in meson-private to
speed up re-runs. This is not possible for version changes, where
Meson instead rebuilds the serialized information using cmd_line.txt.
In some cases cmd_line.txt can contain stale information, since it
is not rebuild except when "meson setup" is invoked. Update it in
the configure script to allow upgrading our Meson version.

ratelimit: protect with a mutex
Right now, rate limiting is protected by the AioContext mutex, which is
taken for example both by the block jobs and by qmp_block_job_set_speed
(via find_block_job).
We would like to remove the dependency of block layer code on the
AioContext mutex, since most drivers and the core I/O code are already
not relying on it. However, there is no existing lock that can easily
be taken by both ratelimit_set_speed and ratelimit_calculate_delay,
especially because the latter might run in coroutine context (and
therefore under a CoMutex) but the former will not.
Since concurrent calls to ratelimit_calculate_delay are not possible,
one idea could be to use a seqlock to get a snapshot of slice_ns and
slice_quota. But for now keep it simple, and just add a mutex to the
RateLimit struct; block jobs are generally not performance critical to
the point of optimizing the clock cycles spent in synchronization.
This also requires the introduction of init/destroy functions, so
add them to the two users of ratelimit.h.

x86: acpi: use offset instead of pointer when using build_header()
Do the same as in commit
(4d027afeb3a97 Virt: ACPI: fix qemu assert due to re-assigned table data address)
for remaining tables that happen to use saved at
the beginning pointer to build header to avoid assert
when table_data is relocated due to implicit re-size.
In this case user is trying to start Windows 10 and getting assert at
hw/acpi/bios-linker-loader.c:239:
bios_linker_loader_add_checksum: Assertion `start_offset < file->blob->len' failed.

AMD IOMMU PTEs have a special mode allowing to specify an arbitrary page
size. Quoting the AMD IOMMU specification: "When the Next Level bits [of
a pte] are 7h, the size of the page is determined by the first zero bit
in the page address, starting from bit 12."
So if the lowest bits of the page address is 0, the page is 8kB. If the
lowest bits are 011, the page is 32kB. Currently pte_override_page_mask()
doesn't compute the right value for this page size and amdvi_translate()
can return the wrong guest-physical address. With a Linux guest, DMA
from SATA devices accesses the wrong memory and causes probe failure:

simplebench/bench-backup: add --count and --no-initial-run
Add arguments to set number of test runs per table cell and to disable
initial run that is not counted in results.
It's convenient to set --count 1 --no-initial-run to fast run test
onece, and to set --count to some large enough number for good
precision of the results.
